Recognized by National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE), Vide letter Code APE00788, ERC/7-78.6(1).12/2007/69198, dated 06th August’2007 & ERC/NCTE/APE00788/B.P.Ed.(Revised Order)/2015/32531, dated 30th May’2015 and affiliated to Patliputra University, Patna.

Annual Intake:- 100 (One Hundred)

Fee Structure:-

At the time of admission selected students are required to pay the total fee including other charges of Rs. 1,50,000.00(One Lac Fifty Thousand Only) for full course of two years of B.P.Ed. The amount paid shall not be refundable.
The above charges is to be paid by D.D. in favour of “Tapindu Institute of Higher Studies(TIHS), Payable at Patna.

Essential Eligibility

Graduate with 50% Marks with physical education as a subject. (B.P.Ed.) OR Graduate having participated in National / State / Inter University Sports / Games / Athletics / SGFI OR Any Graduate who participated school, Inter Collegiate in Sports / Games or Passed NCC "C certificate. OR For deputed / In service candidate (trained Physical Education Teacher / Coaches) Graduate with 50% Marks The reservation for SC/ST/OBC and other categories shall be as per the rule of Central/State government, whichever is applicable there shall be relaxation of 5% Marks in favour of SC/ST/OBC and Other Categories of Candidate. The admission of Candidate will be liable to be cancelled if the candidate fails to comply by the college rules and regulation or gives any false information. A student must attend 75% of lecturers. Those who do not attend the required lectures shall be debarred from appearing in the final examination.

Admission Procedure

Student seeking admission to the B.P.Ed course will have to apply on the college admission form prescribed for the purpose, which is available at T.I.H.S. Reception. Admission shall be made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance test/written test, sports proficiency test, physical fitness test and marks obtained in qualifying examination.

How to Apply :-

The Relevant documents to be submitted along with Application form are the Xerox copy of:

• 1. Matric/ICSE/CBSE/ Marksheet and Certificate
• 2. Intermediate or +2 Marksheet.
• 3. Graduation Marksheet and Certificate
• 4. Caste certificate in support of belonging to a schedule caste/Schedule Tribes/Others Backward class from a competent authority.
• 5. Original CLC at the time of admission.
